INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Our panels are easy to install in just a few steps.  We also include all the installation hardware that you'll need!  Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.

ACOUSTIC PANEL INSTALLATION

SUPPLIED HARDWARE: Each panel comes with two 2” wide z-clips pre-installed on the back.  You should also receive two additional z-clips along with four screws and four wall anchors to easily mount your panels on any flat wall surface.

TOOLS NEEDED:  Tape Measure, Drill, Level, Pencil

STEP 1:

Before you begin, make sure that the z-clips you will install on the wall surface are positioned correctly so that they fit together with the clips on the back of the panel.  Figure A shows a side view of the correct positioning.

STEP 2:

Install one of the z-clips using the included hardware, making sure that it is level.  (We recommend drilling pilot holes and using the wall anchors, regardless of the type of wall surface.)

STEP 3:

Before installing the second z-clip, measure the distance between the inward sides of the two z-clips that are on the back of the panel.  Measure the same distance from the inner side of the z-clip on the wall and mark it with a pencil.  (See Figure B)

STEP 4:

Align the inward side of the second z-clip with the pencil mark on the wall.  Use a level to make sure the top of the clip is straight across from the other one.  Drill your pilot holes, and install the z-clip using the remaining wall anchors and screws.

STEP 5:

Mount the panel by gently sliding the z-clips on the back of the panel over the tops of both wall z-clips, and make sure the panel is secure on both sides.

ART PANEL INSTALLATION

SUPPLIED HARDWARE: Each panel comes with two pre-installed saw-tooth hangers on the back, along with two screws and two wall anchors to easily mount your panels on any flat wall surface.

TOOLS NEEDED:  Tape Measure, Drill, Level, Pencil

STEP 1:

Before you begin installation, look on the back of the panel and take note of the location of the preinstalled sawtooth hangers.  Measure the distance from the center of one of the hangers to the center of the other. (Figure C) Use a pencil and a level to mark that same distance on the wall where you want to hang your panel.

STEP 2: Install the included wall anchors and screws at the points you marked on the wall. (We recommend drilling pilot holes and using the wall anchors, regardless of the type of wall surface.)  Make sure that the heads of both screws remain about 1/8” out from the wall surface.

STEP 3: Mount the panel by gently sliding the hangers on the back of it over the tops of both screws in the wall, and make sure the panel is secure on both sides.
